Gift-Link, serving the Hampton Roads community! The purpose of Gift-Link is to “link” people who would like to donate items to charitable organizations in Hampton Roads with the organizations that need the items. A very simple concept!

FOR DONORS
If you are a potential donor, please look at the website www.gift-link.org. Go to searching on charitable organizations to see what items your favorite organizations need, or by searching on items to see what organizations may need items you have. If you find a match, simply contact the organization!

The charitable organization’s representative will contact you within two days to discuss the item(s), and jointly decide with you if there is a good match. If so, the organization will arrange for pick-up (unless you can volunteer to make the delivery), and will give you an acknowledgement letter that you can use for tax purposes.

FOR NONPROFITS
Nonprofit Organizations must hold federal tax-exempt status to receive goods.
To register, go to the website: www.gift-link.org,. Once you have registered, you will be given a user name and password. You must agree to the Responsibility Statement. Fill out your mission statement and request Approval. Once that has happened, you can start adding items to your wish list.
