Community Funds Welcome Gifts of Any Size

Community Funds are field of interest funds at the Hampton Roads Community Foundation that welcome gifts of any size. All donations will be used to build an endowment that provides grants to nonprofits working to improve life in Hampton Roads.

Donors can choose whether their gift goes to the:

• Community Fund (supports a variety of grants to nonprofit organizations)
• Community Fund for Arts and Culture
• Community Fund for Civic Leadership
• Community Fund for Educational Achievement
• Community Fund for the Environment
• Community Fund for Health and Human Services
• Community Fund for Scholarships

Community funds for specific purposes, such as arts and culture or the environment, provide grant funding to organizations working in those areas. The scholarship fund helps provide scholarships for area students attending college.

To donate to any of the Community Funds, please send a check to Hampton Roads Community Foundation earmarked for the fund you choose. The mailing address is 101 W. Main Street, Suite 4500, Norfolk, Virginia 23510. You can also donate online.
