Debbi Steiger is regional vice president. Prior to joining the staff in 2006 as executive director of the Virginia Beach Foundation she was executive director of the Friends of the Portsmouth Juvenile Court. She previously was director of Soviet resettlement and assistant to the executive director of Jewish Family Service. She earned a bachelors degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a masters degree in business administration from Old Dominion University and a masters degree in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a graduate of the CIVIC Leadership Institute.
